My Voice Was Like Fingernails on a Chalkboard

But Now I Like Myself

My creative juices are flowing now that the days are getting longer and the sun is shining into the evening. Free-flowing, as opposed to slow like molasses in January.

I have never been a fan of my voice or liked hearing myself on any recording. I have been reluctant to read my poems aloud, and I am not confident in public speaking.

But I tried something a couple of weeks ago and I am ok with the results.

I love my old-school typewriter now more than ever. I have been using it in my poetry for a lot of years, but now I have added my voice to my poems.

I am technically challenged but learning. One day, I will add videos here, but for now, here is the link to my Instagram account, Santosha Poetry, where you can check out some of my reels and also take a peek at my studio.

Thank you for reading!

Love and happiness 💖
