I Lost 11 Followers Last Night Between 10 pm and 4 am Central Standard Time.
The only reason I know or even noticed the exact number is that I noticed that I had 887 and wanted to see the number 888 (because I love 8s), so I kept checking. Then the next time, it was 889, so I was like, darn it, I will never see 888, I guess. Careful what you think because now I am down to 878.
I am ok with it as long as it was people who never read my writing anyway.
I have been trying to support many writers on Medium. Reading, engaging, and hopefully making connections with quality people. Losing 11 followers overnight shouldn’t be a big deal, but I don’t have many to begin with! I was secretly hoping to get to 1000 sometime soon.
I do wish we could know which followers are gone and why. I also saw an article or a few people here talking about missing accounts that were very active, etc. What is the best way to learn about the ins and outs of Medium? Does anyone know anything, or are we just guessing?
Oh well, I will be on my merry way to eat my crustless quiche and enjoy my coffee. I’m hoping for a nature walk this afternoon, too!
